Cleaning is never a fun activity so why are we putting ourselves in a potentially dangerous health situation by using toxic cleaners like bleach and other commercially available products?

Conventional cleaning agents contribute to our overall cellular stress and that can manifest into an on-slot of medical conditions such as autoimmune diseases, neurological disorders and a gamut of skin conditions.

The following DIY household cleaning alternatives are safe to use and incredibly powerful when used on body-threatening microbes.  What have you been successful using?

Toilet Bowl Cleaner Recipe
Add these ingredients directly to a partially drained bowl:
• 1/2 cup of baking soda
• 10 drops of melaleuca essential oil
• 1/4 cup of vinegar
As it reacts, scrub the toilet. This is intended for one time use only. Tip: For serious stains or rust, empty water out of bowl and scrub with a wet pumice stone. When wet, the stone will not scratch porcelain.

All Purpose Spray Recipe
Add these ingredients to a spray bottle and shake thoroughly:
• 1/4 cup white vinegar
• 2 cups water


• 30 drops essential oil
• 1 teaspoon borax

Essential Oils to Try:
• 15 drops each of lavender essential oil
• 15 drops of lemon essential oil
• 10 drops each of eucalyptus essential oil, peppermint essential oil & wild orange essential oil
• 30 drops On Guard blend
Tip: If using a citrus oil, please use a glass bottle.

All Natural Floor Cleaner Recipe with Essential Oils
Combine ingredients in a large bucket. Use a mop to clean the floor.
• 1 gallon hot water
• 2 tablespoons liquid castile soap
• 15 drops wild orange essential oil
• 8 drops lemon essential oil

All Natural Essential Oil Window Cleaner Recipe
Mix ingredients in a glass spray bottle. Shake and apply. Wipe Clean.
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 1 cup water
• 10-15 drops lemon essential oil

Soft Scrub for Bath, Tile and Toilet Recipe
In a bowl, combine the baking soda and castile soap. Add the water and stir. Finally, add the vinegar. Consistency should be a soft paste. Make in small batches and store in an airtight container. Enough for two to four applications.
• 3/4 rounded cup of baking soda
• 1/4 cup castile soap
• 1 tablespoon water
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 5-10 drops lemon essential oil

All Natural Wood Floor Polish with Essential Oils
Mix and apply. Wipe Clean
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar
10 drops essential oil (try wild orange or lemon)
